An old fashioned saying, which is similar to the newer, more vulgar "El Desmadre". This is a friendly word for a get-together, a social gathering, or even just a quick bump into friends. "Cotorrear" means to chitty chat, to hang out. "Padre" is to "Ching贸n/Chido" (look these up), what "Cotorreo" is to "Desmadre". Some words like "Padre" and "Cotorreo" were more popular in the 80s and 90s, but they are still used today.
